Growing hospitality company with popular bars and restaurants in the heart of the West Village is seeking an experienced and friendly Server to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests, taking orders accurately, and ensuring that food and drinks are delivered promptly and with a high level of quality.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and take their orders accurately and promptly, with an emphasis on making recommendations and providing a positive customer experience
• Ensure that food and drinks are delivered to customers promptly and accurately, while maintaining a high level of quality and presentation
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized dining area, including resetting tables, cleaning and organizing silverware and glassware, and ensuring that the dining area is free of debris
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure a smooth and efficient service, including communicating any special requests or dietary restrictions from customers
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely, and assist in maintaining accurate records of sales and transactions
• Handle customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner, while also using feedback to continually improve the customer experience
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including food and beverage offerings, and be able to make recommendations and answer customer questions
• Assist in other tasks and duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a server in a high volume bar or restaurant environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with an emphasis on making recommendations and providing a positive customer experience
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm and friendly in stressful situations
• Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
