About This Role:
Hosts are responsible for providing warm hospitality to guests, managing reservations and walk-in diners, helping to facilitate the flow of service throughout the night, and maintain a general command of the food and beverage menu. Hosts will work to provide impeccable hospitality to each of our clients, working specifically with each individual need to curate the best experience possible.
La Devozione, is looking for talented and passionate individuals to join the front-of-house team at our restaurant located in Chelsea Market!
La Devozione is a modern ode to Italy's classic tradition of pasta.
We are hiring host/ess to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests to the venue
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
- Manage reservations
- Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas
- Greet customers upon their departure
- Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
- Maintain a clean reception area
- Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries
- Assist wait staff as needed
