RESTAURANT DETAILS

Bub and Grandma’s first retail store and sandwich shop in Glassell Park is looking to add a server or two to our team! Our wholesale bakery which has been in operation since 2015 (just on the other side of the L.A. River) provides bread for 140+ restaurants around Los Angeles. The new shop sells that bread retail along with pastries, sandwiches, salads, freshly roasted coffee, beer and wine. We’ll be open 8a-3p and are looking for experienced restaurant workers who care about the products they produce, the people they serve them to and the coworkers they share the process with. 

GENERAL JOB DETAILS

• Hiring part and full time candidates who love bread, sandwiches, pastries, and coffee.

• We are looking for people passionate about giving and receiving spirited service and hospitality.

• All candidates practice consistent communication skills.

• All candidates will be expected to prioritize, multitask, and sequence duties.

• All candidates have positive attitudes and are compassionate and empathetic towards others.

BARISTA/SERVER

• Works collaboratively both within FOH team as well as with the broader Bub’s crew.

• Aware of and works within appropriate safety and sanitary standards. 

• Works with a sense of urgency at all times. 

• FOH team will be trained in and expected to handle barista, cashier, serving, and bussing duties - experience not required.

• Expected schedule to be 3-4 days minimum per week.
