Restaurant Floor Manager

Salary: $65,000- $75,000 + bonus + Benefits 

Location: New York City

The Company:

We are working with a New York-based hospitality group with multiple European-inspired restaurants across the city. They focus on creating amazing culinary experiences for their guests through neighborly hospitality. They are adding a floor manager to their team, and this is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to move from an hourly front-of-house position into a management position.

Floor Manager responsibilities: 

• Support the AGM and GM to manage the daily performance of all Front of House team, including but not limited to scheduling, work performance, attendance, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
• In partnership with AGM and GM, implement talent development system to attract, recruit and retain top talent
• Assist in establishing appropriate staffing levels
• Oversee private Events, and assist in the development of the events department including social media and outreach ideas

The Ideal Floor Manager will have:

• Stable work experience, Italian cuisine experience an asset
• Vibrant and enthusiastic, engaged with guests and team members
• Work in a professional yet friendly manner
• Be a team player and assist as much as possible
• Have good communication skills and can work well with the team
• Be passionate about high quality food & drinks!
