Job Title: FOH Shift Lead
Reports To: GM
The FOH shift lead needs to bring a positive approach, high standards, a know-how of all FOH positions, and an innate sense of hospitality to the table. They need to be “day makers” for both our guests and our team. This junior leadership position is for an hourly team member on the rise. This is a role for the dynamic individual who can rock the FOH and ensure that everyone has a great experience when they are running point. This position is a critical one and requires hustle, grit, and a can-do attitude to make FOH magic happen.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent at multitasking
- Strong leadership skills and detail oriented
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- Requires minimal supervision to succeed
- 3+ years of FOH experience across various positions, high volume preferred
- Food Handlers Certificate that meets local requirements
- Committed to making sure the guest experience is a great one
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work on your feet for at least 10 hours
- Must be able to move, pull carry or lift of up to 40 pounds on occasion and 15 pounds regularly
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create a rhythm and an energy that is on brand for Roberta’s
- Ensure the restaurant is clean and the ambience is just right
- Run FOH without support from a salaried leader
- Make sure every guest leaves a raving fan.
- Provide high level guest resolution for any issues
- Print and revise a menu if needed
- Handle all FOH fiscal responsibilities
- Ability to work and support all FOH positions
- Expedite during peak service as needed
- Set up and shut down the FOH, delegating tasks for the most efficient operation.
- Communicate with team members and support/lead an effective pre-shift
- Support the training and development of new hires and trails.
