SALARY = 45k to 50k based on industry work experience, culinary education, skill set and availability.

Full-service wedding and Events Venue is hiring a lead production chef who has a wide range of culinary skill set. This high energy position supervises the flow of food production in the production kitchen daily. Setting the pace for production and holding tightly to our high-quality standards . This chef position must have high standards for food quality, sanitation, and a professional work environment. Elements is seeking a candidate who demonstrates leadership skills and has a confident voice of delegation in the kitchen. This lead position requires the applicant to multitask on a daily basis, working with the executive Chef to managing small- and large-scale production and execution. This mid-level Chef position will rely heavily on organizational skills, quality standards and a refined sense for timing and urgency. Formal culinary training is helpful for this job and candidate must have or be willing to obtain a sanitation certificate. Applicant must be able to work a flexible schedule week to week and must be available for schedule changes and changes in their job function from time to time. Essential duties and job responsibilities include hot and cold food production, sauce making, fast paced food prep, cooking and firing a wide range of foods and working with a team of cooks to execute plated, station and buffet style meal services. Candidate will be involved in executing wedding tastings, working interaction food stations, and helping to manage the flow of food from prep to final presentation. Other areas of chef involvement include ordering food, receiving food from vendors, and planning out production prep lists.
