About Us: Lauren & Peter met working at a restaurant in Downtown Los Angeles back in 2012. They quickly discovered a mutual love for food and hospitality … as well as one another! They married in 2014, and Wax Paper was born in 2015. With a collective 30+ years in the restaurant industry, Lauren & Peter have taken their unique knowledge and experiences and shaped their goals and values into healthy and happy kitchens, dining rooms, and workplaces. They grew from a team of two into two locations when they opened Wax Paper Chinatown, and have since grown into an amazing team of 12.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches to order, using a variety of ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment
- Follow food safety guidelines and adhere to all health and sanitation regulations
- Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as needed
- Maintain consistency of all dishes served
- Think creatively and prepare specials
- Maintain pars, quality and freshness on ingredients
- Slice deli meat and prep ingredients while following safety protocols
- Work with speed and efficiency while producing quality food at a timely output
- Properly set up and store all ingredients and tools used
- Greet customers and hold up Wax Paper's distingushed customer service

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($18.00) plus tips
