About the Role
We are looking for experienced bartenders to join our FOH team. The job requires both serving customers seated at the bar and working the service bar. We serve a full bar including a wine list and house cocktails.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all cocktails, liquor, beer and wine are prepared and served correctly; this includes ingredients, method and pouring technique
- Know how to describe all liquor, beer, wines and cocktails on the list
- Answer questions from guests regarding our venues, menus, pricing, and permitted alterations
- Maintain proper inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, other beverages and supplies and notify management of any gaps or inconsistencies
- Ensure that all wine lists and cocktail lists are accurate and in good condition
- Ensure storage rooms, liquor rooms, bars and wine coolers are kept neat and organized
- Ensure proper maintenance of bar areas.
- Ensure nightly/weekly and opening/running/closing duties are completed
- Comply with all safety and health department procedures and all state and federal liquor laws.
- Maintain company safety and sanitation standards
Skills & Requirements
- 3-5 years of bartending experience
- Knowledge of restaurant operations including food, beverage and service techniques
- Warm personality and a natural ability to interact with people and create an upbeat, fun atmosphere, which is crucial to the experience at Naked Tomato
- Excellent communication and hospitality skills
- Ability to act in a professional manner and demonstrate a positive attitude always
- Desire and dedication to learn and offer a phenomenal service
- Must be professional, enthusiastic and receptive to performance feedback
- Must thrive in a team environment, being able to stay organized and handle various projects at one time
- Must be excited about our food, brand and story
- Wine and hard liquor knowledge
Compensation: Tip credit + tips
