The Waverly Inn is a full-service restaurant, focusing on Classic American cuisine, an extensive selection of wines, the highest quality events and hospitality

Our door team is the face of the resturant and understands our guests are the most important thing to us. Canidates that will excel in this possition should be outgoing, professional and have previously held a client facing position in private dining, luxury brand hospitality or travel.

We are currently looking for a Maitre D or Lead Host with:

• A minimum 1-year, high volume downtown NYC experience or similar
• Minmum 1-year, restaurant or hotel based reservations systems (Resy, Opentable, Sevenrooms, Cendyn, etc)
  

• Strong communication and guest relations skills, most importantly inperson but also via phone and email. 

• Experience working closely with a managment team to develop the floor plans, manager reservations flow and follow all standards set by the venue.  Basic understanding and daily use of microsoft and google office suite products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)
  

Competitive wage based on experience.
This is an in-person position, and all candidates must be local to the NYC Metro area.
