The Wesley is a newly opened restaurant located in the heart of the West Village. As a sustainable restaurant, we focus on where our food and beverage comes from.
West Village Restaurant led by Executive Chef Santiago Astudillo (previously of Le Bernardin and Daniel) turns the dial on what it means to operate a vegetable forward restaurant. Inspired by the season, the menu focuses on a shared experience with plant based and sustainable animal protein dishes.
The Wesley features a unique beverage program, featuring vegan, organic, and female led wine; along with local selections curated by General Manager Gabriel Maldonado (previously of Jean-Georges and Le Cou Cou). Our cocktails take note from our kitchen, with fresh juices, perennial ingridients, and zero proof cocktails.

* We are open Wednesday-Sunday.
Qualified candidates will have:
- 3+ years' experience as a Bartender in a well-rated, formal restaurant in NYC
- 1+ years' experience as a Head bartender or bar Manager
- Experience with a chef driven seasonal, local bar program
- Personable & professional demeanor
- The ability to stay positive and calm under pressure, being able to work through tickets and service calmly and seamlessly
- Ability to curate cocktails off menu for guests based on the unique spirit list in house
- Strong knowledge of wine, cocktails, and spirits
Head Bartender Day to Day:*
*This position offers the opportunity for growth and a varied payrate for the supervisory role
- Take inventory as required for purchasing
- Support GM with cocktail menu curation
- Lead fellow peers on bar team and floor staff in growing your own and their knowledge on our bar program
- Support building out organizational charts, prep sheets, and recipes as needed
- Be the eyes behind the bar to support the implantation of our SOS
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($15.00) plus tips
