We are seeking a Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. The Manager will help oversee all aspects of hospitality, food, wine and service at NIGHT+MARKET. Our ideal candidate has integrity, ambition, and a passion for hospitality. Experience with natural wine is a plus. A solutions oriented mindset and approach to management is required.
This is a unique opportunity to join an exciting Los Angeles based restaurant group with room for growth within the company. The Manager reports directly to the Director of Wine & Hospitality and Director of Operations.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain an active and supportive presence on the floor by engaging customers and working alongside the crew.
- Assist with interviewing, hiring and developing exceptional service teams.
- Learn the wine program intimately. It is as important to our brand as the cuisine.
- Demonstrate a critical eye for the cleanliness and maintenance of the property.
- Maintain a supportive relationship between FOH and BOH.
- Embody NIGHT+MARKET's see something, do something philosophy.
- Oversee successful health inspections.
- Help setup and maintain complete and accurate personnel files.
- Foster and uphold a hospitality mindset and a positive working atmosphere.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be available weekdays and weekends.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year restaurant management experience.
- Must have outstanding service and floor skills.
- Must be a hustler and possess genuine hospitality chops.
- High volume, fast-paced restaurant experience is preferred.
COMPENSATION
- Salary based on experience.
