RESPONSIBILITIES

* The Food Runner will serve as the liaison between the kitchen and the dining room

* Food Runners will deliver food expedited from the kitchen to the appropriate table numbers and position numbers (when applicable)

* They will be expected to place each plate down thoughtfully and with a detailed description (standardized per dish) at every table visit

* Each visit the food runner makes to the table will be with purpose; engaging and professional

* Responsible for knowing the menu items and have the ability to answer questions guests may have about the Garces Group products

* Food runners can be relied on to remove soiled plates and assist front of house team where needed

* They are members of the support staff and are tipped out daily

* Must have basic knowledge of customer service

* Must have a friendly demeanor when present in the restaurant

* Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions

* Must be able to work in a fast paced atmosphere while keeping a professional demeanor

* Ability to stand or walk during an entire 8-10 hour shift

* Must be able to perform other related tasks designated from the management
