L’Avant-Garde is a luxurious French Brasserie located in Georgetown. With our Michelin star-famed Chef Gilles Epié, our famous Chief sommelier, and our prominent Service Director, we expect L’Avant-Garde to be the next DC hospitality landmark. We will be open for dinner only and closed on Sundays and Mondays.

As a Fine Dining Server (Chef de Rang), you will strive to create unforgettable dining experiences for our guests, always going that extra mile.
You must be dedicated with a passion and flair for your service coupled with a positive can-do attitude.
You will have just what it takes to impress our guests with your exceptional guest service skills and sparkling personality. You will be a committed team player who enjoys working as a team and providing a memorable guest experience.
WHAT YOU’LL DO …
You will be courteous and have the confidence to look after our guests to a high standard, providing a 5* service at all times.
Good all-around knowledge of food and wine, good communication skills, and a passion for the industry are a must.
You will assist in the training of colleagues ensuring our standards are met at all times.
This role is varied with no two days the same.
Pre-Requisites
