We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead the very small kitchen team and oversee all culinary operations at our small, established restaurant with 45 seats. This is a very hands on role, and expect direct involvement with evening service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exceptional dishes using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and will be responsible for menu development, food preparation, kitchen management, and staff training. The Executive Chef will ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste, and will be responsible for maintaining high levels of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen. A high degree of authority and autonomy with an existing dedicated team.
