Upscale, high volume neighborhood restaurant is currently seaking a chef/kitchen manager to lead our small kitchen team. Ideal candidates will have strong leadership skills and ability to utilize culinary creativity to market to our unique customer base and demographic.
Must have:
- Minimum of 2 years kitchen management experience
- Full understanding of menu development, inventory management, cost control and analysis
- High volume line experience
- Ability to create monthly specials, seasonal menu changes
- Commitment to quality and consistency
- Ability to enforce and improve company policies and standards
- Labor control and budgeting
- Strong computer skills- Toast POS, Restaurant 365
- Weekend and evening availablity
Culinary Degree a plus, but not required. This is a working position, including but not limited to line shifts, expediting high volume sales shifts, prep and inventory.
