Responsibilities of the Expeditor include:

• The communication link between the Front of the House (service team) and the Back of the House (kitchen team)
• Ensure the liaison and make sure dishes move from kitchen to dining room in a coordinated, smooth and timely manner
• Examine portioning and garnishing of completed food order
• Review order for accuracy
• Notify service team when order is ready
• Record count of items to accumulate food control
• Responsible for Quality Assurance between the two departments

Skills Required:

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Leadership
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Must have a one year minimum of fine dining restaurant experience and a working knowledge of  fine dining food and service
