The team behind Smoque BBQ has re-imagined the classic American steakhouse around the idea that it doesn’t need to be grandiose to be special. It doesn’t need to be pretentious to be unique. It doesn’t need to be exorbitant to be great.
We are looking to fill multiple Front of House positions, including servers, bartenders, server assistants, and hosts.
JOB SUMMARY: The Market Staff's passion for hospitality is key to delivering an exceptional carry out & delivery dining experience to our guests. They are responsible for building rapport with guests, sharing knowledge of food and beverages, and maintaining a professional demeanor throughout their shift.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet and interact with all guests in a sincere and warm manner, while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
Possess complete knowledge of the food style and restaurant menu, and be able to answer guest questions professionally and concisely.
Follow proper steps of service to provide exceptional service to guests.
Assist guests with questions about menus, and make necessary accommodations for allergies and dietary restrictions.
Efficiently operate the Toast POS system.
Understand all Smoque Steak Market offerings
Pay close attention to guests' needs, including body language, to personalize the service experience for each individual.
Check in with guests regularly and relay any feedback to supervisors.
Notify supervisors promptly of any issues or concerns, and take corrective action as necessary.
Be available to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Complete shift change, opening, and closing duties as needed.
Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
Assist team members when necessary to meet business needs.
