We’re hiring for Cool World, a new restaurant in Greenpoint serving simple American food with warm, unpretentious hospitality under the direction of Chef Quang Nguyen (Wildair, Cosme, Má Pêche).
We’re looking for hosts to join our team and be a part of creating a new fixture for the community and a happy, respectful culture at work. We’re hoping to hire folks with 1-2 years of experience in a similar role and who will come to this role with an established base knowledge of food, wine, and spirits.

The food will take inspiration from the brasseries that defined New York in the 70s, 80s, and 90s, merging that straightforward sensibility and service with the excellent produce and vast range of culinary influences at our fingertips here in New York. The beverage list will highlight an ever-changing selection of our favorite wines from around the world, local beers, and cocktails inspired by the bars that defined New York from the 70s to the 90s. Our aim is for the beverages to be crowd-pleasing while still remaining interesting.
