About us: We are a small, ambitious cocktail bar and pasta restaurant located in downtown Miami. You can see what we've been up to on Instagram @jaguarsunmia.
Our team has experience in some of the best bars and kitchens in the world (Per Se, Drink, Momofuku Ko). We take our food, service, drinks, and cleanliness very seriously. We do not take ourselves very seriously. Our most succesfull candidates tend to think about restaurants as a career path rather than a way to make a quick buck, but we take all kinds here.
About the job: You'll be welcoming guests into our space, managing reservations, managing our waitlist, and helping lead a great cocktail party every night. Our space is small, but we are fortunate enough to be consistently busy, and hosting here means being able to maintain a positive attitude and clear head even while guests throw curveball after curveball your way.
This would be an hourly position. We offer a 4 day workweek with health and dental insurance available to all full time employees. The host position starts at $20/hour.
