Pomegranate Hospitality is looking for experienced, outgoing Baristas for Safta's Counter, the market hall element of the modern Israeli restaurant by James Beard award-winning chef Alon Shaya. In addition to roles and responsibilities of the Barista, the position also includes answering phones, reservation management, and takeout responsibilities.
What we hope you bring to the team:
- minimum of 1 year of barista experience preferred for all candidates
- Bartending/cocktail experience a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow employees as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas.
- Must be able to stay on feet for up to 8 hours throughout work shift
