Job Details

The Dinex Group, the restaurant Group of Chef Daniel Boulud, is seeking a Retail Supervisor for Epicerie Boulud, our Eat In/Take Out market featuring the same quality of service and ingredients found in all of our the restaurants, presented in a more casual form. The Epicerie offers a chance to elevate quick service dining in to an exceptional retail experience. 

The Retail Supervisor will manage a team of retail specialists and baristas to ensure consistently exceptional customer experiences, while also overseeing the inventory and stocking of products and the overall appearance of the market in conjunction with the General Manager.

The ideal candidate has prior experience as a Manager or Supervisor, ideally in a similar retail environment. He/she will have strong communication and customer service skills, be team oriented, and have the management and culinary skills to provide extraordinary customer service in accordance with Chef Daniel Boulud’ s philosophy and standards.

Prior experience in a gourmet food market, retail food operation or Cafe is required!

Épicerie Boulud is Chef Daniel Boulud's eat-in and take-out market and café, with three NYC locations: 1900 Broadway across from Lincoln Center, The Plaza Food Court in The Plaza Hotel, and the Oculus at the World Trade Center.

Épicerie Boulud emphasizes seasonal, house-made ingredients, from fresh bread and viennoiserie to made-to-order sandwiches, soups, salads, charcuterie and cheese boards, French pastries and gelato. On our shelves, you will find a selection of condiments, candies and artisanal products inspired by Daniel and his chefs in their world travels.

We are an all-day café serving coffee, breakfast, lunch, and a rotating selection of hot plats du jour. A full selection of beer and wines by-the-glass may be found at our bar, as well as tapas and fresh oysters.
