MAIN ROLE
The Kitchen Server provides essential support to the FOH and BOH teams. This position functions as a facilitator for communication between FOH/BOH and acts as the backbone of support for all other positions. They will provide the foundation for a smooth service by ensuring stations are set up, the dining room is prepared and by supporting service by running food. Areas of growth can be in either FOH/BOH depending on interests and goals.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for keeping the kitchen in pristine order while moving fluidly and efficiently.
- Assist in maintaining organization and cleanliness of kitchen.
- Prepare in the set up of the dining room: restocking, polishing, setting up water station, etc.
- Maintain organization of the serving ware.
- Run and spiel dishes to guests.
- Clear,mark, and reset tables.
- Facilitate communication between between FOH/BOH.
- Keeping track of the flow of service and helping the team coordinate.
Qualities required:
- Have experience in hospitality or customer service.
- Have basic knowledge in food and beverage.
- Able to work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail and positive attitude; ability to multitask.
- Be well groomed and have a professional appearance.
- Must be punctual and able to receive instruction.
- Desire to gain experience in fine dining and grow professionally.
