We make all our pasta, both fresh and extruded,as well as all of our bread, laminated pastries, ice creams, and sorbets in house. About the job: You will be expected to work diligently, cleanly, and efficiently on your station. You will be expected to be the "chef" of your station, maintaining and keeping track of all your mise en place and understanding your ingredients. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of raw fish preparations, fresh and extruded pasta. This is a great job for a line cook looking to grow to take on more responsibility and get a close look at everything that goes into running your own small restaurant. This would be an hourly position with considerable overtime. We offer a 5 day workweek with paid vacation as well as health and dental insurance.
About you: You should have at least 1-2 years of experience as a line cook in a real kitchen. You must have a strong work ethic and be enthusiastic about learning and growing as a cook. And you should be able to take your craft seriously while being a positive and respectful colleague.
