We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Manaer with a progressive culinary background that has fundamental understanding of the diversity, fine touches, bold flavors and unique finesse of Creative-American cuisine with touches from Spain, France, and Italy.

The ideal candidates will be able to:

  • Manage the BOH culinary team, inventory and cooridnate food orders
  • Keep weekly and monthly cost reports 
  • Supervising and train food prep and cooking
  • Checking food plating and temperature
  • Guide the team to deliver quality food on time
  • Establish and maintain portion sizes
  • Schedule kitchen team shifts
  • Price menu items in collaboration with the Restaurant Manager
  • Order food supplies and kitchen equipment, as needed
  • Store and label food products in compliance with safety practices (e.g. in refrigerators)
  • Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area

The ideal candidates will have:

  • Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire, teach, and coach restaurant employees
  • 1+ years of kitchen leadership experience as a kitchen manager in high-volume, well-rated restaurants
  • Ability to support the line during service while managing transition from prep to service
  • An Associate's degree from a culinary focused university preferred but not necessary
  • Experience with various Mediterranean cuisines along with classic cooking styles & preparations
  • Hands-on experience with planning menus and ordering ingredients
  • Knowledge of a wide range of recipes
  • Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Conflict management abilities
  • Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment
  • Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends
