Barcade is hiring a General Manager for our forthcoming location in Center City, Philadelphia. The General Manager is responsible for managing service and day to day operations of a specific Barcade location in accordance with Corporate Guidelines. The GM represents the Barcade brand and as such is friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of the brand and its unique offerings.
Duties and responsibilities
• Manages service on designated shifts.
• Performs and/or oversees weekly and monthly inventory and ordering.
• Responsible for hiring and training in accordance with corporate systems.
• Coaches staff in quality assurance, customer service, and cost control.
• Completes daily and weekly cash reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Oversees cleanliness and maintenance of facilities with willingness to make periodic minor repairs.
• Participates in business development initiatives in tandem with corporate sales and marketing teams.
Qualifications
• Previous management experience in a fast paced bar/restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of craft beer.
• Interest in vintage arcade games.
• A passion for hospitality and customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Flexible schedule with ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
• ServSafe Certification
• TiPS Certification
• Previous experience with Digital Dining a plus.
