Job Details

Canoe Restaurant is searching for a Sous Chef to join our culinary team. This is a working sous chef postion and the right candidate will possess the desire to creat and inspire the Canoe team

Responsibilities

Assist Executive Chef / Executive Sous Chef with the development and implementation of our culinary standars, must have an lead by example management style
Management of all back of house staff in a high volume kitchen, and helping with development of line cooks
Assist in monthly inventories, and daily / weekly ordering of food and supplies
Maintain high sanitation and cleanliness of the entire restaurant

Prefer

At least 3 years of Culinary Management experience in an upscale/fine dining establishment
Strong knowledge and attention to detail on back of the house operations including: staff supervision, inventory controls and product quality
Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
Stable and progressive work history; Strong work ethic
Graduate of an accredited culinary program is a plus

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($50,000.00 - $55,000.00)
