We are looking to fill a RESERVATIONIST/OFFICE ASSISTANT to work the AM, Weekend Shift.
- AM shift: Part Time. Weekend availability is a must.
- Pay: From $20.00+ per hour (depending on experience) + TIPS

Job Summary:
The Office Assistant's primary function is to field all phone calls, emails, web based requests and walk up reservation inquiries and managing the reservations through the internal reservation system. The level of service must be consistent with established “Elephante Beach House” guest hospitality standards. The position also requires the reservationist to provide guests with accurate information regarding the restaurant, reservations and its operations.
A cheerful, positive attitude when working with a variety of people, and being able to work well under pressure dealing with multiple guests is a must. Attention to detail and strong communication skills with guests are super important and critical skillsets for this role. Office Assistant/Reservationists must enjoy working with people and consistently extending overwhelming hospitality to guests and visitors.
Essential Job Functions:
*RESY experience a plus*
• Handle all telephone, email, internet and in person reservations and inputting into reservation system accurately
• To maximize revenue by converting inquiries, recognizing business prospects and taking every opportunity to upsell and promote
• Promote and maintain the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to their needs
• Answer incoming telephone and email inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Review reservations daily and adjust and or confirm reservations for the restaurant
• Maintain knowledge of menu, including daily specials
• Maintain current information on all general activities of the restaurant
• Be knowledgeable with regards to operating hours of the restaurant and any promotion/events
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the FOH Management Team
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Excellent guest service and hospitality skills
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal & written)
• Must be effective at listening, understanding guest needs and clarifying concerns and issues raised by guests
• Ability to be flexible and to perform multiple tasks effectively
• Friendly, open disposition and professional presentation
• Open availability; must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
