The Rudder, an iconic restaurant and bar since the 1950s, is seeking full-time and part-time Bar Staff. Located in the Rocky Neck neighborhood of Gloucester, The Rudder has a decidedly neighborhood vibe that is warm and inviting. The restaurant also invites guests to visit us by boat and dine with us right on the water. Combining the fine food and attentive hospitality of Chef Barbara Lynch, The Rudder offers a rotating menu highlighting Gloucester’s local seafood.

Representing a variety of backgrounds and experiences, everyone is united by a shared commitment to excellence, education, and hospitality. Candidates must have availability on weekends and evenings and experience in a high volume full service restaurant. Ideal candidates will thrive in a team culture focused on exceeding guest expectations. Tip compensation meets and exceeds industry standards.
