Job Overview: We are looking for a professional and experienced Host/Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as previous experience in hosting events. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, coordinating seating arrangements, and ensuring that guests have a positive experience. This position will require someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks at once.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and coordinate seating arrangements to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
• Communicate with guests to ensure their needs are met and provide assistance as needed (phone, in-person and email).
• Prepare and maintain the host/hostess stand, including keeping it clean and organized.
• Manage the flow of guests to ensure efficient and timely service.
• Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times.
• Assist with event planning and execution, including managing RSVPs, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring that events run smoothly.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in hosting, event planning, or related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Detail-oriented and able to think on your feet.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
