Job Details

Community Tavern, an upscale new American restaurant with pan-Asian influence, is seeking a full-time experienced line cook. This position is 5 shifts per week starting at 12-1pm. It's not a late night as our last seating is 9pm on weekdays and Sundays and 10pm on Fridays/Saturdays. The right candidate must have 2-3 years experience working in a full service, scratch kitchen. We are a tight team, so every member is expected to treat each other with respect and kindness and to uphold the standards of the kitchen as a whole. Cooks are required to keep their area well-prepped, clean and all equipment and tools maintained properly. You should be a good communicator and multi-tasker with high standards and attention to detail in your cooking and plating. You must have an updated food handlers certification. We offer health insurance for our full-time employees after 90 days. Health insurance is a 50% contribution (Aetna PPO). Empoyees are also offered a 50% dining discounts whenever coming in for them and a guest.
