BARTENDER
The high volume, elevated dining experience at Thomas & Dutch is about more than the New American menu and exstensive wine list. The cocktail program is equally ambitious and looking for hungry bar staff. Blancing between well refined classics and adventurous specialty cocktails, this bar is looking for cocktail creatives who love the craft and have a genuine interest in customer service. The cocktail list focuses on hyperseasonality, origional flavor combinations, and balance. This program is truly ideal for people who are eager to lear new skills and ambitious in their field.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Setting up the bar for service
- Thorough prep and build knowledge
- Ability to batch cocktails and make syrups
- Customer service focused and hospitable
- Proper cocktail build and knowledge of common cocktails
- Break down bar
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-2 years experience in high volume bar/restaurant a plus
- Experience in an upscale dining experience a plus
- Beer/wine/common cocktail knowledge
- Flexible schedule
This is an ideal position for someone who is dedicated to providing great service and is seeking to become a member of a hard-working and fun team
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift 45 lbs if necessary.
- Safely and effectively use all necessary tools and equipment.
- Stand and walk for the entirety of an eight-hour shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant.
