Job Description:
As the Executive Chef at Jerk At Nite, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our culinary operations. You will work closely with our management team to develop and refine our menu, create new seasonal offerings, and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day culinary operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Develop and update the menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative flavors while aligning with our brand identity.
- Create and implement standard recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, safety procedures, and food handling practices.
- Collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure the availability of fresh ingredients while managing food costs.
- Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new cooking techniques, and emerging ingredients to enhance the menu and overall dining experience.
- Conduct regular quality checks on food items to maintain high standards of taste, presentation, and portion sizes.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or a similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and food presentation.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
