SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the Service Director, the Front Door Attendant will greet guests as they enter the restaurant. They will also engage with guests to ensure their meal is as good as it should be. To do well in this role you should be comfortable standing for long periods and managing a very busy shift.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greets guests who arrive by welcoming them to the restaurant.
- Opens restaurant doors for all guests.
- Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
- Resolves customer complaints, assists customers in all inquiries
- Creating and Distributing menus related to the guests experience
- Maintaining and stocking restrooms throughout service

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to clearly speak, hear, see (i.e. distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus)
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, sit, reach, bend, stoop, climb, push/pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds
- Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills
