Primary Sous Chef duties include providing quality service in all areas of food production for menu items and specials in accordance with company standards and plating guide specifications. Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment. Assists and trains line cooks as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (in a supervisory capacity) within a high volume upscale or fine dining restaurant
- Open availability (two days off guaranteed)
- Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift at least 50 pounds
- Must be able to communicate in and understand English
