Popina is a lively, fine casual restaurant in the Columbia Street Waterfront District of Cobble Hill Brooklyn. Its menu draws inspiration from the Southern United States and Italy with a focus on market ingredients and pasta.
Popina Restaurant is seeking hospitality professionals to join its dynamic service team.
Our ideal new Sommelier has a passion for food and wine, and a desire to be surrounded by knowledable, enthusiastic hospitalitarians. Qualifications & Requirements:
• Minimum 3 Years Beverage Experience in NYC (Preferably Fine Casual/Fine Dining)
• Strong guest relations skills & an ability to read guests
• Strong Food/Wine Knowledge & a desire to learn more
• Cocktail and Spirits Knowledge
• Ability to Multitask in High Pressure Situations
• Great Communication skills
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($10.00 - $25.00) plus tips
