In every new environment, you are given the opportunity to learn a unique Restaurateur’s protocol of service. Introductory details are provided in the Boulettes Larder Handbook.
Before service each shift, there is a line-up with Chef to describe and explain the menu items that will be employed in service so that you understand unfamiliar vocabulary and have an opportunity to ask questions.
Specifications, Functions, and Duties:
- Arrange and maintain your environment.
- Greet guests, answer questions, makes suggestions regarding food, drinks and all services we offer.
- Serve food and drinks.
- Interact verbally with guests by answering questions and, when appropriate, add explanations or details about the ownership, the location, or the cuisine, all of which contribute to guests' experience.
- Complete all opening and closing side-work according to BL standards.
- Proficiently process customers’ checks for payment. And, complete close-out reports.
Qualifications and Standards:
- Ability to complete all job-specific training.
- Ability to adhere to all policies and procedures.
- Reading, writing, basic arithmetic, and verbal communication skills required.
- Mobility required during the entire shift.
- Ability to execute all mechanical tasks involved with maintaining a clean, neat, and organized working environment
- Have knowledge of Point of Sales Systems and Reservation Systems.
- Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for up to (6) hours in length.
- Must have good sense of balance, be able to bend and kneel, and have the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Pay Rate:
Pay rate is competitive and commensurate with the candidate’s qualification and ability to perform in a professional environment with high standards.
Availability:
Daytime and evening shifts available. Part-time and full-time opportunities Tuesday through Saturday.
