Frankies Spuntino Events is looking for a Event Operations Manager to join our team!
The Events Operations Manager is responsible for the flawless execution of all Frankies events held both onsite and off-premise. You will oversee the event production process from confirmed booking through final execution and will be accountable for managing the logistics for all events, proactively communicating with internal and external partners, and supervising event staff, including hiring and training. You will also support the Director of Events with the event planning process, providing exceptional client service, and maintaining event execution standards in order to achieve the sales goals of the business. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast paced environment and can simultaneously manage multiple events in a graceful manner.

What You’ll Do
- Oversee production execution of all confirmed events
- Ensure all events are carried out per Frankies Events standards, suggest improvements, and assist in updating processes and procedures as needed
- Effectively communicate all event needs to internal teams in a professional, thorough, and timely manner using approved internal channels and documents
- Manage the hiring and training of all event staff both front and back of house
- Anticipate staffing needs and manage weekly scheduling of events staff to ensure all events are appropriately staffed with schedules published 2 weeks in advance
- Distribute all event paperwork and details needed to Event Captains and Chefs a minimum of 2 days prior to the event
- Act as primary liaison for all third-party vendors regarding load-in/out, onsite needs, and insurance requirements
- Provide hands-on support for event execution as needed
- Manage all event equipment inventory, purchasing, and organization and conduct inventory monthly
- Ensure that all materials and F&B products required to execute events are in-house, accessible, and in good condition for every event
- Work with culinary and beverage teams to update training documents and ensure that all events team members are adequately trained by conducting staff trainings two times per year
- Attend site visits, pre-planning meetings, and venue meetings as needed
- Be available to greet clients as the face of Frankies Events hospitality and be a hands-on trainer and liaison between the client and the event staff
- Develop and maintain positive guest relationships by ensuring hospitality in all interactions
You Should Have
- Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in events, restaurant/venue familiarity preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to teach and mentor team members
- Foster a hospitality-first team culture
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills
- Proficient with technology and ability to efficiently use all software platforms required for the role including Google Workspace, Tripleseat, and Dolce/Teamwork
- Flexible work schedule with ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- May be required to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy objects up to 50 lbs
- Kneel, bend, or stoop, ascend or descend stairs; be on feet for extended periods of time
- English Fluency, Spanish knowledge is a plus
