We are seeking servers for the the recently opened YESS Restaurant. YESS is a Progressive Japanese restuarant in the heart of LA's Arts District. While experience with Japanese restaurants or culture is not essential, warmth, humility and an enjoyment of team work are super important.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct communication with all team (Kitchen and Dining Room) members during service
- Warm and intuitive communication with all customers throughout service
- Taking Food & Drink Orders and Using POS
- Ability to learn and communicate about new drinks program and about daily changing kitchen dishes
- Flexibility to lead, support and problem solve in mutiple positions and tasks
- Working clean, with good tempo and good spirit
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($16.04) plus tips

It's 60 - 90 people capacity space, casual Japanese restaurant.
The restaurant features an entirely open kitchen surrounded by a Japanese Cypress dining counter. It features a Chef’s counter, salon space and private dining room.
The cooking draws from both traditional and contemporary Japanese techniques while adapting to work with the ingredients from Southern California.
A drinks menu of sake, shochu, cocktails and our original wine accompanies the food. Most of our Sake and Shochu are exclusively selected and imported from Japan; likewise our tea.
