Vetri Cucina Las Vegas is looking for a driven, highly skilled, experienced chef with a desire to learn and grow as our sous chef.  The ideal candidate brings a kind, compassionate and supportive attitude to the operation in order to maintain and support our best-in-class, collaborative, and creative work environment.  Specific duties, responsibilities, and desired levels of experience and education are listed below.


  • Principal Duties and Responsibilities
    • Sous Chef reports to and supports Chef de Cuisine in all aspects of operations including but not limited to: 
      • Service management
      • Expediting, 
      • Direct support of team members before, during and after service
      • Event planning and execution 
      • Menu development
      • Purchasing and cost control
      • Health Department and Sanitation Standards
      • Facilities R&M
      • Staff Training and Education
      • Interface and Communication with Front of House staff 
    • Sous Chef is responsible for the oversight and supervision of food preparation and production in order to ensure adherence to VB Gruppo’s high level of quality standards. 
    • Sous Chef is expected to continuously evaluate operational efficiency and productivity in order to help drive constant improvement and maintain best-in-class guest experience
