About You

We’re looking for a District Manager to lead our Northern California team. You’re the right leader for our team if:

District Manager Responsibilities

- Embody the mission and values of Smitten each and every day
- Partner with General Managers and Head of Operations to recruit, hire, train, and lead teams that will positively contribute to the culture of our company
- Grow the business by increasing revenue, finding system efficiencies, managing labor, and planning new growth, all while keeping the team member and guest experience at the forefront
- Partner with the Head of Operations to execute operational tactics to grow the business
- Lead cross-functional projects with Marketing, Finance, Operations, Training, Engineering, Real Estate, Supply Chain, People Operations, and Catering teams
- Listen to the needs and issues of your team and advocate on their behalf
- Cultivate a positive team environment across shops by sharing best practices and celebrating team wins

District Manager Requirements

- 3+ years management experience within a fast-paced company (restaurant or retail a plus)
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage many balls (or ice cream scoops!) in the air at once
- Excellent communication skills - verbal skills are a necessity and written skills are a big plus!
- Entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to create real impact by helping to design the future of the company
- Excellent work ethic and able to handle a work schedule in-line with business needs (i.e. weekends, evenings)
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must pass a background check
- Passion for ice cream
