Summary:

We are currently looking for a General Manager. As a General Manager, you'll report directly to the CEO to ensure day-to-day operations of the venue run smoothly, sales targets are achieved, and to drive the success of the venue overall. You will oversee a FOH staff of 20-30 bartenders, servers, barbacks, and hosts, leading 5 floor shifts per week. We're seeking someone with hospitality management experience who is energetic, firm but approachable, and wants to be part of a quickly expanding team.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Ensure shifts run smoothly with all FOH positions effectively performing their duties before, during, and after shifts
• Coordinate with BOH as needed to minimize ticket times and ensure great quality food
• Facilitate excellent customer service and resolve guest issues as they arise
• Lead and develop individual FOH team members, coaching and utilizing corrective action when necessary
• Adhere to all ABRA and Department of Health regulations
• Oversee the cleanliness of venue facilities and coordinate servicing for any maintenance issues
• Perform administrative and operational duties (e.g., invoicing, hiring) as determined by the CEO
• Adjust the POS system as needed
• Ensure all company policies are upheld and report concerns to the HR Manager

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience managing a bar/restaurant preferred
• Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving ability
• Refined interpersonal skills for interacting with team members and guests
• Ability to stay cool and focused under pressure
• Confidence in delivering performance feedback to team members when needed
• Strong knowledge of food, beverage, inventory, and food safety
• Experience with Toast POS a plus
