SUMMARY

Under the direction of the General Manager, a Host at Molti Amici works to achieve the objectives of welcoming our guests in a warm and genuine fashion, guest services, satisfaction, service quality, cleanliness, and sanitation of the property.

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Maintain an understanding of the proper steps of service required of all service team positions.   
• Maintain mental athleticism for coordination with table seating 
• Strong communication and listening skills to effectively deliver accurate messaging to both guests and teammates. Willing to receive and be receptive to critical and productive feedback.
• Comprehensive menu and beverage knowledge, which will be maintained and kept current, as menus evolve.
• Derives pleasure from providing a warm, hospitable environment for guests and has a passion for hospitality. 
• Mature emotional self-awareness under pressure while maintaining a graceful, caring presence.
• Intellectual curiosity to ensure growth and continued learning in the position.           
• Immediate availability and a commitment to a career in the hospitality industry. 
• 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work in a standing position and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, frequently lift up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds.
• Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
• Flexible to work evenings, holidays, and extended hours, as the business dictates.
• Dynamic and adaptable to work in ever-changing work settings.
