Footman Hospitality is looking to hire a Bartender for Bangers & Lace!

In 2013, after 10 years of "one off" projects, the partners formed Footman Hospitality. This was the natural evolution of the company, who now manage, brand and have expanded their unique hospitality ventures under one cohesive operation and vision.
In the early 19th century, a footman was no ordinary man. Charged with running the most precious and precarious tasks in a household, a footman’s purpose was to apply a relentless attention to detail to household affairs that often escaped other staff. The footman undertook every task, from greeting guests to serving dinners, with a refined sense of style and a gracious demeanor.
Expectations:
The Bartender is responsible, hard working & has attention to detail. They are dedicated to the systems that management has put in place. They set an example for the rest of the service team & must be representative of the kind of people we want to bring into our bars & create the vibes & culture we want to present to our guests.
In addition to your responsibilities as a bartender, this role consists of:
- Offering mentorship & direction to remain on task, improve their bar skills & knowledge
- Update draft beer keg rotation lists on Google Sheets
- Maintain & communicate bar low stock & 86 lists thru Slack
- Assist with monthly inventory
- Assist with beverage prep, stocking & organizing of liquor room & beer coolers
- Daily cleanliness checklists
- Uphold rules & standards set in place by management
- Must have open availability including evenings, weekends & holidays
- Securely drop checkouts & cash drawers into safe ensure all lights are off & doors are locked
- Identify areas of potential improvement. Examples below:
- Changes to create a more efficient bar & well setups
- Updating side work checklists to reflect areas that need attention
- Menu ideas (draft beer, spirits, cocktails & wine)
- Must have a valid Food Handler & BASSET Certificate prior to start date. Certified Beer Server/Cicerone is a plus!
