Kiln is a tasting menu restaurant opening in Hayes Valley this spring and is currently seeking Captains, Backwaiters and Hosts to join our Service Team.
Ideal candidates thrive in a small team environment and are able to work closely and collaboratively with all other members of the service team, front and back of house. We are looking for focused, hard working individuals who are dedicated to providing authentic hospitality, committed to the preparation and execution of our service standards, and diligent about maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.
Fine dining serving experience and wine knowledge is highly encouraged, though we will happily train the right kind of candidate and provide the necessary tools in order to grow into each position. That said, individuals must have a strong desire to learn, contribute, push for progress and be a part of a team, as all service staff members are expected to be a proactive part of the cycle of service.
The schedule will be Tuesday-Saturday with Sundays & Mondays off along with annual closures. Pay rate will depend on the skill level and any additional tips from the evening will be pooled among eligible staff members.
