Blackbird Restaurant is looking for a full time host to work lunches and dinners.
Previous experience and flexibility is preferred. The ideal candidate must possess strong attention to detail and be highly self-motivated. The position also requires one to be cordial, engaged with guests, and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
The host is responsible for greeting and seating of guests, menu updates, service notes, and general office duties. The candidate will be responsible for answering phone calls, booking reservations, and returning messages in a timely, concise, and accurate manner. Proficiency with computers and OpenTable is a must.
The host will report directly to the Assistant Manager and General Manager.
