The Shift Supervisor is a highly proficient individual who inspires excellent customer service in their team and being the frontline person for the leadership team. They should be able to help and assist in training new hires as well as being able to carry out day to day operations. Assist the market leadership team with store operations. They will lead by example in terms of policy and procedures and set the example of what that looks like daily from time and attendance to dress code.
PEOPLE & CULTURE: Help the leadership team in training of new staff as well as recruiting any potential candidates. Communicate proactively, professionally, and positively with the team and guests. Will assist the management team in filling any gaps in schedule. Coach team to meet and exceed standards, perform well, and treat each other respectfully. Be an agent of change and take the lead in difficult situations.
CUSTOMER EXCELLENCE AND FOOD QUALITY: Maintain knowledge of items in the market as well as items on the menu in the café stations. Engage and educate guests on products and services available to them through the market and café stations. Attend monthly meetings concerning menu changes. Ensure that quality standards are met for food and grocery packaging and handling.
HEALTH & SAFETY:Make sure that all safety protocols are followed and maintained. Ensure safety, harassment, injuries, or any other issues brought to your attention are escalated to Cafe Management and addressed immediately. Maintain and upkeep daily, weekly, and monthly deep cleaning schedules. Actively identify any additional safety hazards and work with leadership to rectify them. Maintain food service health certificate and employ practices while on shift in the cafe.
HOSPITALITY: Create a space that is welcoming and passionate about hospitality. Educate staff on product and services as well as customers on the vision and idea behind Fatty Mart. Build relationships with guests and communicate and assist them as needed. Exceed guest expectations. Leave guests feeling better than you found them.
BUSINESS MANAGEMENT: Maintain the leadership presence in the market in absence of management. Handle situations or issues that may arise with guest complaints or markets. Make sure daily operating duties and policies are being followed by staff to Fatty Mart standard. Follow all cash handling procedures. Work with management in identifying any area of opportunities for staff and day to day operations. Possesses the ability to problem solve with little supervision.Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($19.00 - $25.00) plus tips
