Yellow Rose is looking for a restaurant Manager to join our team!
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for providing leadership to the front of house, ensuring a great experience for our guests, and assisting the General Manager with day to day operational tasks and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all restaurant employees on a daily basis, ensuring policies and processes are being followed
- Assist with the hiring, on-boarding and continuous training of employees.
- Oversee the floor during service; ensuring the team stays on task and delegating assignments
- Ensure guest satisfaction; interact with guests and engage in service recovery when issues arise
- Ensure all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service
- Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and served according to standards and recipes
- Be proactive in reaching Company goals in sales and service
- Create a positive, fun and productive working environment
- Assist with managing labor and adjusting schedules to meet business needs and goals
- Ensure compliance with department of health standards, maintain restaurant cleanliness and safety
- Facilitate meetings and trainings to improve staff knowledge and performance.
- Other duties as assigned
Restaurant Manager Qualifications:
- Minimum one year restaurant management experience in a full-service restaurant
- Proven leadership skills and must be able to manage, develop, and motivate a team
- Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment while effectively delegating tasks
- Work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Must be able to lift / carry items up to 40 lbs. and push / pull items up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods of time, with frequent bending, twisting, squatting and reaching overhead
