To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with restaurant operations and have a good understanding of what makes a great customer service. You should also be available to work within opening hours, including weekends and holidays.
You will help minimize operating costs, boost our employee retention and deliver a positive dining experience for our guests.
-Welcome guests to the venue
-Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
-Manage Delivery-Take Out Orders
-Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas
-Greet customers upon their departure
-Coordinate with manager/assistant manager about available seating options
-Maintain a clean reception area
-Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)
-Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries
-Assist wait staff as needed
-File Daily Report on 7Shifts and manager report in envelope with cash sales
-Coordinate communication between front of the house and back of the house staff
-Supervise kitchen and wait staff and provide assistance, as needed
-Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
-Gather guests’ feedback
-Calculate future needs in kitchenware and equipment: printer papers, pens, paper clips and all the useful things that daily operations require
-Checking Vendors Invoice and communicate with Kitchen or Bartender if any missing Item (include this in the Daily Report)
-Keep track of employees’ hours and make sure all the staff respect his schedule, including early leave during dinner shifts
-Report all the “short items” (liquors, beers, wine, or kitchen items) directly into the 7Shifts report at the end of the shift.
