Reinventing India's quintessential comfort food with seamlessly integrating Indian ingredients and cooking techniques with modern contemporary flair and presentation right here in Chicago at From here on food hall & market at the The Old Post Office building.

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line cooks to join our team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and specifications
Assist with the preparation and setup of ingredients and kitchen equipment
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Follow all health and safety regulations
Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that all dishes are of high quality
Monitor inventory levels and inform management of any necessary restocking
Assist with menu planning and development
Working in an open kitchen (10' × 20' Booth) and creating relationships with Guests.
Experience with Indian cuisine is a Plus!

This position will likely train for a week at the loaction. Initial schedule could require 8am-7pm, 5 days a week while we build our Team to enable a 5 day work week. Flexibility of Morning/Part time shifts possible. Closed on Staurdays & Sundays. Salary is extremely competitive given the nature of a food hall environment, much shorter hours than a typical restaurant, and oversight of a smaller location.
