THE POSITION
Melba’s is seeking Food Runners with significant high volume restaurant operations experience for our teams.

JOB OVERVIEW

Food Runners are a key part of the guest experience, running food from the kitchen to tables and ensuring all guests receive their orders in timely fashion.

Specific responsibilities: 

• Work with the kitchen & expo teams to deliver food items to our guests.
• Ensuring that our guests have everything they need to enjoy their food items.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards of the company.

COMPENSATION
The Food Runner will be paid $16/hr plus tips

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 1+ years’ front of house experience in a high-volume restaurant 
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Polished personal presentation; grooming meets Melba’s standards, as outlined by Employee Handbook
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule, per the needs of the business
• Ability to walk, stand, and/or bend continuously and for extended periods as required to perform essential job functions
• Ability to perform essential job functions when working under stress, in fast-paced environment
• Ability to withstand outside climate conditions, and inclement weather
